I’m Leigh Matthews, better known as L.
I am a detail-oriented data analyst, knowledge translation expert, novelist, and useful generalist living on the Sunshine Coast, BC.
My M.O. (modus operandi) is to help turn complex information into clear, accessible, and evidence-based content, whether that means:
- Analyzing data
- Developing dashboards and reports
- Writing for the web or print media.
I specialize in writing for health, environment, and sustainability audiences, and for fundraising professionals and non-profits.
With degrees in Philosophy/English and Nutritional Medicine, and certifications in Data Analysis and Data Science, I’m a useful person to have around. So, if you are struggling to fill a role – or even to figure out a job description – chances are you need an L.
My background spans non-profit operations, research, communications, and content development, with years of experience working alongside executives, physicians, researchers, and cross-functional teams. Off the side of my desk, I’m also an author, Co-Chair of my kid’s daycare board, puppy wrangler, avid reader, enthusiastic knitter, veggie gardener, and occasional breadmaker.
